How much does pool deck resurfacing cost in Palm Coast?

Why is my pool deck separating from the coping?
The deck was poured on backfill around the pool shell, and backfill settles — sometimes for years, faster where a sprinkler or the cage's downspout saturates it. The deck drops a little, the coping doesn't, and the gap opens. Sealing the joint stops water getting behind the shell; foam lifting brings the deck back up if it's dropped more than a hair; a deck that's dropped inches is a replacement.
Can you pour a new deck without taking the screen enclosure down?
Often, yes. We protect the columns, pour around them and re-anchor into the new slab. If the columns were set in the old slab in a way that can't be re-anchored, or the cage is due for replacement anyway, we coordinate with an enclosure contractor so it comes down and goes back up around our schedule.
What finish stays coolest?
A light-colored acrylic spray texture — what most people call cool deck — reflects the most heat and gives the most grip wet. A knockdown texture is a little smoother underfoot and hides an uneven deck better. Both are far cooler than plain gray concrete or a dark stamped pattern in a Palm Coast July.
How long until we can swim?
Resurfacing is usually two to three days of work and you can walk the deck the day after the sealer goes on. A new deck is walkable after two days and ready for furniture after a week. The pool itself stays usable throughout unless the coping is being reset.
